FoSBR AGM 2020

Randall Room, All Saints Church, Clifton, the venue for FOSBR AGM 2020

Friends of Suburban Bristol Railways (FoSBR) will be holding our Annual General Meeting on Friday, 14th February 2020. We apologise for the fact that the date may be awkward for some people!

The venue for this year’s AGM is the Randall Room at All Saints Church, Clifton. This is on Alma Vale Road, near the corner of Pembroke Road (BS8 3ED). It is a ten minute walk from Clifton Down Station. Please note that this is a different venue to that we have had for the last two years’ AGM (although it is only some 250m away).

The Room will be open from 7.00pm and the AGM will start at 7.30pm, ending at 9.30pm.

Members will be able to renew their subscriptions on the night: £10 for individual members, £5 for concessions and £25 for organisations. Alternatively you may wish to use our new online renewal process

Our main speaker is Professor Stuart Cole, Emeritus Professor of Transport at the University of South Wales. Professor Cole is a leading expert in transport economics and policy with nearly 40 years of experience in the sector. He will be sharing his experience of the Cardiff Metro project.

The meeting is also open to non-members, who are welcome to observe. Light refreshments will be available.

The relevant trains for the event are as follows:

  • Bristol Temple Meads 18:03 Clifton Down 18:16
